Weekly training
We train at Cambridge Gun Club, near Cottenham. It is a 20-minute drive from Cambridge to CGC. Transport is organised amongst members, with taxis arranged when needed.
We meet at the English Faculty car park on the north side of the Sidgwick site at 9:30am, with transport allocated on a first come first served basis. We are usually back in Cambridge by around 1:30pm.
Training typically occurs on Sundays. Additional training days are arranged on an ad hoc basis, depending on availability of coaches and or license holders.
Costs
Membership is £45.00
There is no pre-determined shooting layout at CGC, so we are able to shoot as many or as few clays as we like at any of the stands, but some typical costs are given below. These include the cost of clays, cartridges, and transport:
A round of 50 clays: ~£25.00
A round of 100 clays: ~£50.00
